Moghu USA announced the appointment of Daewon Koo as senior product development and regional manager. In this role, Koo will oversee research projects and manage distribution channels for the turf herbicide PoaCure in the southern United States. He will be based in Dallas.
Koo recently earned his doctoral degree in plant pathology, physiology and weed science (turfgrass weed science) from Virginia Tech under the guidance of Dr. Shawn Askew. Before pursuing his doctoral degree, he served as a marketing manager and research scientist at the Moghu Research Center in Korea.
“Moghu Research Center and Moghu USA are esteemed for their dedication to pesticide active ingredient discovery and development, offering innovative solutions for customers,” Koo said. “I'm thrilled to join this dynamic team and look forward to forging new connections to assist our turf industry customers.”
