Cusciwilla learns sales training

Georgia’s Cuscowilla Golf Resort turns to Country Club Pro Shop Sales for sales training program.

Dallas, Texas – Cuscowilla has become the latest customer for the sales-generating training program of Country Club Pro Shop Sales, specialists in increasing revenue for golf and tennis pro shops.

Cuscowilla Golf Resort on Lake Oconee, in Eatonton, Ga., is a 700-acre facility established in 1997.

“After my golf team spent the day with the ONE sales training program from Country Club Pro Shop Sales, Cuscowilla is now expecting to use the skills gained to effectively serve our members and increase our merchandise sales,” says Andrew Ward, c.e.o. at Cuscowilla.

“Our customized ONE training teaches pro shop staffs how to assess the opportunity of a sale, determine the needs of the customer and truly engage the customer,” explains Stephanie Stewart, president of Country Club Pro Shop Sales. “We help pro shops leverage their advantages over other retailers. We teach them how to bring their expertise into the sales process and sell on value, not on price. The results for the shops are an increase in repeat sales and higher average purchase amounts.”

The Cuscowilla course is a 6,847-yard, par 70 course that was designed by two-time Masters champion Ben Crenshaw and architect Bill Coore.

Cuscowilla joins a lineup of golf and tennis clubs, such as Colonial Country Club, San Antonio Country Club and Onion Creek Country Club, that have used the Country Club Pro Shop Sales custom training programs.
