Vienna, Va. – Wintonbury Hills Golf Course, The Golf Club at Oxford Greens and Lyman Orchards Golf Club are hosting contests for tickets to the Buick Championship, the PGA Tour’s upcoming stop in Cromwell, Conn.
Billy Casper Golf operates the three facilities.
Drawings will be conducted at all three courses with entries closing Aug. 22. Two entrants will be selected at-random at each facility and the winners will receive two four-day passes to the PGA Tour event being played August 25 through 28. Golfers are entered into the drawings at each course every time they play a round at the facility.
There is no limit to the number of times a person can enter the drawings by playing the facilities.
“Billy Casper Golf is excited to enhance the outstanding golf experience at Wintonbury Hills, Lyman Orchards and Oxford Greens by offering an opportunity for our valued customers to win passes to the Buick Championship,” says Brian O'Hare, regional vice president for BCG. “Mr. Casper has a great following in the area because of his incredible record in Hartford’s Tour event, so this is a fun way for us to give back to all the fans and golfers in the area.”
Billy Casper has the winningest record in the event with victories in 1963, 1965, 1968 and 1973, when the tournament was known as the Greater Hartford Open. Casper ranks sixth all-time on the PGA Tour with 51 wins, including three major championships. Earlier in the year, Casper visited the area to mark the 40th anniversary of his 1965 GHO win.
