Cool Planet announced that Andrea Melnychenko has joined the company as the West Coast turf, ornamental and nursery account manager. She will join the soil health company to support Cool Planet’s extensive network of distribution partners and growing number of Cool Terra customers.
Melnychenko’s extensive expertise in biological science and plant physiology will help Cool Planet foster greater adoption of the company’s flagship product, Cool Terra Organic featuring Engineered Biocarbon technology. The product helps users achieve greater soil health, improved plant vitality and resiliency, more efficient use of nutrients and water, and reduced carbon footprint.
Prior to joining Cool Planet, Melnychenko progressed through roles in quality assurance and sales at CID Bio-Science/Felix Instruments, and most recently served as grower account manager at Agerpoint. She earned BS and MS degrees in biology from Portland State University. Melnychenko was drawn to Cool Planet because of her confidence in Cool Terra products and excitement for Cool Terra’s ability to enhance soil vitality for efficient production of high quality, beautiful and resilient turf, nursery and ornamental crops.
