Control Solutions Inc. announced the appointment of Sam Pass as head of sales. In his new role, Pass will oversee sales for the company’s five business units: CSI-Pest, Quali-Pro, Production Animal, Martin’s and Industrial Sales.
“I am fortunate to inherit a strong sales management team,” Pass said. “We have five talented and long-tenured business directors that I am excited to work alongside.”
Pass joined CSI in January 2022, initially leading the marketing team. He later took on the challenge of heading the Professional Pest Control team, driving growth and alignment in both roles. During his tenure, Pass also earned his MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
Before joining CSI, Pass served as the pest control & nursery greenhouse market manager for FMC Corporation in Philadelphia. Among his achievements, he successfully led the 2019 launch of a new insecticide product.
Pass’ career in the pest management industry began long before his corporate leadership roles. A graduate of the University of Florida with a bachelor of science in entomology and nematology, Pass grew up in the industry, spending over five years as a technician at his family’s company, Action Pest Control in Evansville, Indiana.
“Sam’s leadership, strategic vision, and deep understanding of both our markets and our customers make him the perfect choice to lead CSI’s sales organization,” said Trey Kendrick, head of commercial unit, APS & general manager at CSI. “We’re excited to see his continued impact as we expand our presence across all business units.”
