CONTECH Bridge Solutions is a new major division created as part of CONTECH Construction Products Inc.’s business realignment strategy. The new company offers a full range of plate, precast and truss bridge options and a technically-trained marketing and engineering support team.
CONTECH Construction Products has recently announced four new operating divisions and one national sales force to better serve its customers. The CONTECH Bridge Solutions division brings together some of the most well-known bridge names in the industry. Brands include the CON/SPAN Bridge System, the BEBO Arch System, Continental Bridge, Steadfast Bridges and the CONTECH Structural Plate bridge product lines. Over 45,000 of these structures have been installed nationwide.
“Building on the success of these products in past years, we are looking forward to now being able to offer a complete bridge product line to the market,” says CONTECH Bridge Solutions president Timothy Beach. “The integration of these companies guaranteed a win-win for the marketplace with a great team of support specialists and a great bridge offering.”
CONTECH purchased Steadfast Bridges and Continental Bridge in 2000. In 2003, the company acquired the BEBO arch technology and furthered its available product line with acquisitions of CON/SPAN Bridge Systems and BridgeTek in 2005. Both Continental and Steadfast currently continue to function as stand-alone companies. Independent licensees of the CON/SPAN Bridge System also remain as providers of the system in certain areas of the U.S.
The existing support teams for plate, precast and truss bridges will continue to provide service to the engineering community, while offering an expanded line of bridges to meet any application need.

The CONTECH Structural Plate product line offers the advantages of metal plate and aluminum bridge structures, including lightweight, durability and ease of installation. These products allow for easier, faster structure assembly and lower installation costs. Structures can be pre-assembled on-site and lifted into place without heavy or specialized equipment.

With spans from 12 to 102 feet, BEBO and CON/SPAN precast concrete arch bridges can be installed quickly with minimal long-term maintenance. The precast modular systems offer set-in-place construction and aesthetically pleasing solutions.

Steadfast and Continental steel truss bridges provide a complete line of vehicular and pedestrian bridge options in varying styles and with several finish options. Vehicular bridges span up to 150 feet and pedestrian bridges up to 400 feet.
