Compass Pointe included in must-play list

Compass Pointe Golf Courses has been named one of the Mid-Atlantic's "Must-Play" courses by the editors of GolfStyles Washington magazine.

Pasadena, Md. - In conjunction with the Maryland Economic Development Corporation and Anne Arundel County, Billy Casper Golf announced that Compass Pointe Golf Courses has been named one of the Mid-Atlantic's "Must-Play" courses by the editors of GolfStyles Washington magazine.

The soon-to-be 36-hole facility was recognized for its "classic" design features, outstanding conditions and high customer service levels. Opened in 2004, Compass Pointe is coming off an exciting inaugural year in which the South Nine and spacious practice facility both opened to critical acclaim. The final nine-hole layout - the East Nine - is slated to open this summer.

"We are honored to be among GolfStyles Washington's 'Must-Play' courses of the Mid-Atlantic," says Tony Cianci, Regional Vice-President for BCG. "We feel that Compass Pointe has been one of the best new facilities in the entire Mid-Atlantic region since opening late last year and this is a validation of a lot of hard work."
