Colleton River Plantation Club hired Wesley Trawick as assistant golf course superintendent for the club’s Pete Dye course. Trawick’s responsibilities include assisting in the preparation of operating budgets and capital plans and overseeing daily maintenance and agronomy programs.
Before joining the club, he was second assistant superintendent at Kiva Dunes Golf Resort in Gulf Shores, Ala. He also served as foreman and spray technician at the Magnolia Grove and Capitol Hill courses on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail.
Trawick received an associate degree in applied science golf course management and a distinction certificate in golf course management from Faulkner State in Gulf Shores. He has more than seven years experience in golf course maintenance and also is a member of the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.
