The CMAA's new Certified Chief Executive (CCE) designation will recognize managers who have demonstrated the ability to successfully serve as the most senior manager in a club. The Certified Chief Executive (CCE) designation carries with it a set of minimum requirements that must be met and is separate from the Certified Club Manager (CCM) designation.
Club managers who qualify for the CCE designation must be active status members of CMAA, and must have achieved the CCM designation and served as the top executive in a club (GM, COO, CEO) for a minimum of five years. In addition, candidates must have earned membership in CMAA's Honor Society and have successfully completed Business Management Institutes IV and V.
“The Certified Chief Executive (CCE) designation is meant to further distinguish the unique qualifications of the existing Certified Club Manager (CCM),” said CMAA c.e.o. Jim Singerling, CCM, CEC. “CMAA is pleased to offer this program to recognize the top club managers in our industry.”
For more information on the CCE designation, please contact CMAA’s Education Department at (703) 739-9500.
