ClubCorp has entered into a long-term multi-property agreement with Endless Summer LLC to manage Carillon Beach Inn, Carillon Beach Club & Spa, the Sunrise/Sunset Condominiums, and the Carillon Beach Town Center - all located in Panama City Beach, Fla. The Inn, Club & Spa, and condominiums are scheduled to open by March 2007. The Town Center currently features several shops, boutiques, and restaurants.
Located in Bay County on the Gulf Coast between Panama City and Destin, Carillon Beach resort community features 3,900 linear feet of private white-sand beaches and currently includes an ocean-side beach club, swimming pools, tennis courts, a restaurant, the Town Center, and a freshwater fishing lake.
Under the agreement, ClubCorp will manage and operate the luxurious 70-unit Carillon Beach Inn; the Sunrise/Sunset Condominiums, which includes two buildings with 13 high-end residences in each; and the Town Center with 37,400-square-feet of retail space. ClubCorp also will develop the club concept and manage the Carillon Beach Club & Spa, a 7,500-square-foot spa and fitness facility, and a resort pool with water features designed for families.
"Our involvement with the Carillon Beach resort community is very exciting," says John Beckert, ClubCorp's c.e.o. and president. "This is a fast-growing area that features some of the country's most scenic beaches. This project, which I believe will be extremely successful, both allows us to expand our management services in a variety of areas and complements our current portfolio of high-quality clubs and resorts."
"We are excited about this project and to be working with ClubCorp, a leader in the industry," says Jim Steiner, of Endless Summer LLC. "Together, we plan to create an exceptional experience for both the citizens and visitors to Carillon Beach."
