The company has reached agreements to manage Chardonnay Golf Club in Napa, Calif.; Bluegrass Yacht & Country Club in Hendersonville, Tenn.; and the University of Massachusetts Club in Boston.

“I am excited about the addition of these properties to our family of clubs,” says John Beckert, ClubCorp president and chief executive officer. “Each offers a unique experience in a beautiful setting for our members and guests. We are pleased to have this opportunity to share our expertise in club management at each of these clubs.”

ClubCorp entered into an agreement with Napa Golf Associates, LLC to manage Chardonnay Golf Club, a semi-private club located in the popular wine region, Napa, Calif.

Chardonnay Golf Club features a 27-hole championship golf course with views of rolling hills and vineyards. The layout consists of three 9-hole courses that meander through 130 acres of Chardonnay and Merlot grape vineyards and entwine with numerous lakes, creek crossings and a variety of native flora and fauna. ClubCorp will be developing a membership offering, as well as making the club available for golf tournaments, corporate golf events and daily play.

ClubCorp entered into a long-term lease agreement to operate Bluegrass Yacht & Country Club in Hendersonville, Tenn. This member-owned private club is located 20 miles north of Nashville. The club offers an 18-hole golf course, driving range, clubhouse and marina. Amenities include a dining room, grill, cocktail lounge, grand ballroom and terrace that overlook the ninth green, as well as a sports complex that includes a swimming pool and four tennis courts. ClubCorp plans to spend $1.25 million renovating and upgrading the club over the next several months.

The University of Massachusetts Club, which opened at the end of October, is a private business club located on the 33rd floor of the State Street Bank building in the heart of Boston’s financial district. The 18,000-square-foot club offers views of the harbor and downtown Boston.  In addition to a membership roster that includes former General Electric c.e.o. Jack Welch as co-chair of the board of governors, the club will feature an informal grill and bar area; a main dining room, and private dining and meeting rooms.
