John Switzer was named the Carolinas Market Manager for Clickit Ventures in Fort Mill, S.C., company

John Switzer was named the Carolinas Market Manager for Clickit Ventures in Fort Mill, S.C., company, vice president Robert Browning announced. Switzer, who brings with him nearly 10 years of experience in the golf industry, will be responsible for the company’s sales, marketing, and growth initiatives in North and South Carolina.

“The addition of John Switzer to our organization immediately strengthens our base of operations in the Carolinas” said Browning. “His wealth of experience in the golf industry, specifically as a PGA professional, will allow him to develop a very deep understanding of the goals of our clients and help them better utilize our company and its services to meet and exceed those goals on a monthly and annual basis.”

Before arriving in Charlotte, Switzer was a key member of the golf staff at Sodus Bay Heights Golf Club, in Sodus Point, N.Y. In his eight years with the club, he served in a number of roles, including two years as an Assistant PGA Professional (Class B-8), adding the role of the club’s Marketing and Membership Coordinator in 2004. In that role, he was responsible for coordinating all marketing and promotions for the golf club, including maintenance of the club’s official Web site.

After adding the responsibility of Marketing and Membership Coordinator at Sodus Bay, Switzer’s efforts increased new membership revenues for the club by over 50 percent and increased new non-member revenues by more than 15 percent in 2005.

“John’s proven track record in both sales and customer service will be wonderful assets for our company and our clients as well,” added Browning. “He has been successful as a marketer in a golf course environment, and the application of that success for other golf courses in the Carolinas will only benefit Clickit Ventures and our clients.”

Switzer graduated from St. John Fisher College, located in Rochester, N.Y., in May of 2004, with a Bachelor's degree in Management, with a concentration on Marketing. He is currently completing work on his Master’s of Business Administration degree.
