Cleary has made the strategic decision to establish a new sales territory. The states of Georgia and South and North Carolina, which were once covered by one sales representative, will now be managed by two Technical Sales Representatives. Cleary welcomes aboard these two accomplished sales representatives to the Southeastern region of the US. The two newest members of the Cleary family, Peggy Clanton and Jeff Briggs, have more than 35 years of combined experience in the turf and ornamental industries.
Clanton will serve Cleary Chemical’s golf, lawn care, and ornamental customers in the state of Georgia and the western half of South Carolina. She formerly worked as a distributor representative for UAP and Helena Chemical Company. She received her bachelor’s degree from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, Georgia. Clanton brings with her more than 15 years of turf and ornamental experience. She currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
Briggs will serve Cleary’s turf and ornamental customers in North and South Carolina. He will cover all of North Carolina and the central and eastern shores of South Carolina. Briggs comes to Cleary Chemical from Lesco where he was a sales associate covering the golf, lawn care, and sports turf markets. Prior to Lesco, he spent over five years as an assistant superintendent at Augusta Country Club in Augusta, Ga. and Forest Oaks Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. Jeff comes to Cleary Chemical with more than 20 years of turf and ornamental experience. He currently resides in Greensboro, North Carolina.
