Circling Raven posts August sales increases

Year-to-date numbers are ahead of projections as well.

Circling Raven Golf Club in Worley, Idaho, posted increases in several categories in August, continuing the upward trend it has enjoyed since beginning its first full season in 2004.

Total revenue increased 6 percent month over month, while year-to-date total revenue is also up 6 percent over 2007 through August. Rounds played are up 3 percent YTD, greens fee revenue up 7 percent and merchandise sales up 4 percent.

“Circling Raven and Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel aim to exceed our guest’s expectations and when this is accomplished the numbers fall into place,” says Head Golf Professional Steve Caruso.

Contributing to Circling Raven’s success and sustained momentum is the price point and value it affords players, as well as the unspoiled beauty of the land on which it sits. Its peak playing fee in 2007 is $90, which includes GPS-equipped cart and full privileges at its top-line practice facility.

Many courses comparable to Circling Raven – a member of several national “best-of” lists lauding the nation’s best golf properties – charge two to three times more in playing fees.
