Circling Raven Golf Club to host customer appreciation events

Course and Golf Shop at Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort & Hotel thanks top 100 customers with an invitation-only event, open-house for general public.

Having just shut down its golf course for the 2006 season Circling Raven Golf Club in Idaho announced it will keep its award-winning golf retail shop open through the rest of the year and will again host invitation-only, customer-appreciation events as well as open houses this fall and winter.

Effective immediately, the clubhouse is open Mondays-Fridays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Thursday, Nov. 22. Also, Circling Raven will feature its 3rd Annual Holiday Sale, which begins on Friday, Nov. 24 and run through Friday, Dec. 29, Wednesdays - Sundays, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.

During its customer-appreciation events - top 100 customers on Saturday, Dec. 19, general public open house Saturday, Dec. 16 - Circling Raven's top customers will be treated to golf shop items at discounted rates, giveaways, appetizers and drinks. The golf shop will offer unique Indian Country artwork and lifestyle gift items, as well as golf and Circling Raven logo merchandise.

Such proactive, strategic events are the hallmark of Circling Raven - the sparkling amenity of the Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel - and director of golf David Christenson, the reigning PGA Northwest Section Merchandiser of the Year. The Northwest Section includes industry superstars Bandon Dunes, Sun Valley and other highest-profile resorts.

"Circling Raven puts our customers first, so it's a privilege for us to be able to thank them for their strong and loyal support," says Christenson. "Our tee sheet was often full and our merchandise sales exceeded projections by 17 percent this year. This is a small token of our appreciation."

Circling Raven's top customers will be sent their invitations via letter along with a screensaver CD with 18 images of the 7,189-yard course, which just completed its third full season and has been accorded best-of accolades from Golf, Golf Digest, Golfweek magazines and Zagat Survey. It is a stunningly beautiful Gene Bates design set on spectacular rolling terrain alternately dotted with woodlands, wetlands and a plethora of indigenous wildlife, flora and fauna.

A second customer-appreciation event will open to the public and offer many of the same benefits, but not to the same extent that the top 100 customers' event.
