Cincinnati, Ohio -- The Cincinnati Recreation Commission announced that its annual "Kick Off to Golf Week" will take place April 11 through 17 at Avon Fields, California Glenview, Neumann and Reeves Golf Courses.
Monday through Friday, Golfers can walk any of these courses for only $15 for 18-holes and $10 for nine. In addition to the special rate, large range buckets are only $5. The celebration extends throughout the weekend by featuring the Dunham and Woodland courses, where golfers can walk unlimited holes for $10.
Kick Off to Golf Week is complemented by food and beverage specials, and a bargain merchandise sale in the pro-shop. This weeklong celebration also features many fun golf-related activities, including contests, golf clinics and exhibitions.
"Kick Off to Golf Week this year is even more exciting than ever as the warm weather has finally arrived," says Jill Timon, director of marketing for the CRC Courses. "The staff is excited to see the season begin and this week provides an opportunity to start taking care of the customers and thanking them for their support right away, which will continue to be a main focus in 2005."
All CRC golf courses have earned industry and consumer praise for their course-design characteristics. In particular, Glenview has hosted a U.S Amateur Publinks Championship and earned a Golf Digest "Top 50 Public Golf Courses" distinction.
