Chopper fever hits GIS

The Nitrogen Cycle, a customized American Ironhorse Texas Chopper which pays tribute to the fertilizer industry, will make an appearance at the Golf Industry Show.

St. Louis – The Nitrogen Cycle, a customized American Ironhorse Texas Chopper which pays tribute to the fertilizer industry, will make an appearance at the Golf Industry Show, according to Agrotain International, LLC.

“Golf professionals often comment on how much they like the visual demonstration of the nitrogen cycle found on our Web site,” explains Andrew Semple, vice president of global marketing for Agrotain International. “We took that educational representation one step further and proudly developed The Nitrogen Cycle, a unique, literal depiction.”

The Nitrogen Cycle is painted to convey details of the nitrogen loss cycle. Painted by pinstriper Jack Lindenberger, U-Maxx liquid and U-Maxx granular nitrogen appear to power the engine, while the front and rear fenders show StabilizedNitrogen being applied via a spray nozzle and spreader spinner respectively.

“We’ve taken a leadership role within the industry to educate professionals about nitrogen loss potentials,” said Al Nees, vice president of turf & ornamental sales for Agrotain International. “Because our StabilizedNitrogen products are designed to reduce nitrogen loss to the environment, professionals who use our products gain more nitrogen efficiency at a reduced cost and, at the same time, see beautiful color and easy solubility.”

The Nitrogen Cycle will be on display at AGROTAIN International’s booth (No. 515) at the Golf Industry Show Feb. 9 through 11, in Atlanta.
