Celebration Golf Club in Florida recently hosted more than 100 hotel and resort professionals for a two-day Convention Resort Partners golf outing.
Gene Garrote, vice president of Celebration Golf Co., said the two-day event ranks as one of the most important of the year for Celebration Golf Club.
“Convention Resort Partners includes the top concierge workers, valets, and hotel sales managers at Gaylord Palms, The Radisson, The Peabody and other major area hotel properties in the region,” Garrote says.
“These are the people whom hotel guests ask where to dine, where to shop and where to go play a round of golf,” Garrote says. “In addition to being an important group for us, they are some of the friendliest people in the hotel industry in Central Florida. We had a great time.”
The two-day event included rounds of golf, lunch, golf lessons and other activities.
