The Carolinas Golf Group announced that two of their Georgia facilities have signed on to host One Club World Championship Qualifying Tournaments. Traditions of Braselton in Jefferson, Ga., will host a qualifying event on Aug. 26, 2006 while The Golf Club at Sanctuary Cove in Waverly, Ga., will hold their qualifying tournament on Sept. 19th.

The Golf Club at Sanctuary Cove blends the classic design elements from traditional golf course architecture with the techniques of modern day design.  Scott Turner, PGA Professional/Director of Golf Operations invites all golfers to come and participate in this unique experience where you will choose just one club to play the entire round.

Brian Conley, PGA Head Golf Professional at The Traditions of Braselton, welcomes you to visit their rolling, tree lined, Georgia Countryside which has been skillfully molded into a championship caliber course reminiscent of the old traditional links courses found in the northeast. By playing in either one of these qualifying events, you will have the opportunity to compete for a spot in the 2006 One Club World Championship Tournament Oct. 30 at Eagle’s Landing Country Club in Stockbridge, Georgia.

Papa John’s Pizza, the 2006 Grand Slam Sponsor, joins with One Club Golf to use these exciting events to raise awareness and resources for needy children.  Proceeds from the tournament series benefit Special Olympics Georgia and A Helping Hand Adoption Agency.
