The low buzzing overheard across the courses at Barefoot Resort during the Carolinas Championship Monday afternoon wasn’t some new turf equipment, or even an enormous mosquito. It was the brand-new GCI drone, making its first appearance at the show manned by GCI test pilot (and sometimes associate editor) Kyle Brown.
Video is on the way, but until then, enjoy these snapshots from high overhead the Fazio, Love and Norman courses. No injuries were reported, but a few shots may have been disturbed - we're sorry!
