Broad Run, LakeRidge add ProLink GPS

Cart-mounted units display graphics including distances to the pin and hazards.

Broad Run Golfer’s Club in West Chester, Pa., and LakeRidge Golf Course in Reno. Nev. now feature the ProLink Solutions GPS system and plan to participate in ProLink’s exclusive national advertising opportunity.

“Getting proper yardages and having a feel for the course’s topography are key to playing well at Broad Run,” says Lori Van Sickle, general manager at Broad Run Golfer’s Club, a Rees Jones-designed facility. “Our golfers definitely make the most of the ProLink’s system’s features. ProLink GPS has a variety of functions that make it easier and more profitable to run the course. We see great benefits on the food-and-beverage side, can attract more tournament play, and earn added revenue through the advertising program.”

LakeRidge’s head professional Randy Beeghly says, “LakeRidge has many hazards and doglegs, so having accurate distance measurements is crucial to negotiating the course. Our golfers definitely benefit from the assistance ProLink GPS provides.”

With ProLink’s 10.4-inch high-resolution color screen, Broad Run’s cart-mounted units display dynamic, easy-to-read graphics including distances to the pin and hazards, pro tips, pace-of-play timer and radial arc for cart-path-only holes. Golfers at Broad Run will also be able to order food and beverage items with a touch of a button on the ProLink screen.
