BrightStar Golf Group LLC, the Carlsbad, California-based golf management and ownership company, named Ryan Whitney as general manager and Josh Heersink as director of agronomy at TPC Snoqualmie Ridge, located in Snoqualmie, Wash.
BrightStar Golf Group also owns other premier golf properties in Colorado and Northern California.
A native of Olympia, Wash., Whitney has spent the past 15 years in the golf industry. His most recent role was Director of Operations overseeing seven golf properties for Oki Golf, based in Bellevue, Wash. Prior to joining Oki Golf in 2005, Ryan served as the general manager at Washington National Golf Club in Auburn, Wash., under the ownership of Heritage Golf Group.
Heersink, a prior “Superintendent of the Year” for Arnold Palmer Golf Management, joins TPC Snoqualmie Ridge after successful tenures at Trilogy Golf Club and Echo Falls Country Club in Wash., and Presidio Golf Club in San Francisco.
