BrightStar Golf Group LLC, the Carlsbad, Calif. based golf management company announced today the hiring of Scott Fanton as the new General Manager at The Pinery Country Club in Parker, Colo.
Prior to joining The Pinery, Fanton was the Clubhouse Manager at the prestigious Reserve Club in Indian Wells, Calif. In addition, Fanton also held club management positions at Perry Park Country Club in Larkspur, Colo. and at Cherry Hills Country Club in Cherry Hills Village, Colo.
The Pinery recently completed an $11M renovation that included a new clubhouse and fitness center and has been the family club of choice for over thirty years in the Southeast Denver area. The golf course, originally designed by David Bingham in 1972, features a links style layout in a high prairie setting that meanders through mature ponderosa pines. The Pinery Country Club features 27 holes of scenic, challenging golf. The three nines (Mountain, Lake & Valley) each have their own unique character, and feature dramatic elevation changes and scenic vistas amongst Colorado's pines, peaks and valley with dramatic views of the front-range from Mt. Evans to Pikes Peak.
“Scott has the level of high end private club experience that we value in a general manager”, said Bill Keogh, chief executive officer of BrightStar Golf. “We believe his professional background and skill set will help us to continue to provide our members with the great service associated with a prestigious private club and continue to elevate the club’s growing reputation in the Denver market.”
