Bonita Bay Club promotes John Oyler to director of golf

In his new position, Oyler oversees golf operations for the club’s five courses and 140,000 rounds of golf each year.

Bonita Springs, Fla. – John Oyler has been promoted to director of golf for Bonita Bay Club. In his new position, he oversees golf operations for the club’s five courses and 140,000 rounds of golf each year.

Oyler joined Bonita Bay Club in 1991 and later served as golf professional at Wetherington Golf & Country Club in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, Pa. He returned to Bonita Bay Club as head golf professional in 2000.

Oyler attended Virginia Tech on a golf scholarship and holds a master’s degree in business administration from California Coast University. He has been a Professional Golf Association member since 1994 and has volunteered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southwest Florida since 2003.
