Monroe Township, NJ. – RDC Golf Group, a golf course ownership and management company that recently purchased the Blue Heron Pines West Golf Club in Cologne, N.J., has appointed Pat Vanderstine as the club’s general manager. A veteran the Atlantic City area golf market, Vanderstine is among a small number of women in the Garden State to hold the position of general manager.
At Blue Heron Pines, Vanderstine will oversee all facets of the club’s management including administration, human relations, guest service, business development, budget planning and community relations.
Vanderstine has nearly 18 years of experience in golf and facility operations in both corporate and privately owned properties. Most recently, Vanderstine served as an independent consultant to the Egg Harbor Township-based Golf Profit Builders, a consortium of golf industry professionals that specialize in providing business and strategic planning, budget preparation and operations support for golf properties.
"Pat Vanderstine's experience as well as her knowledge of the region's golf market makes her uniquely qualified for this assignment," says RDC c.e.o. Christopher Schiavone. "Blue Heron Golf Club has a fine team of service-oriented individuals to which Pat makes a great addition. RDC is committed to building the club's reputation as the best golf experience in the area, and Pat Vanderstine shares that commitment,"
"RDC Golf Group has an established reputation of excellence in the golf ownership and management business," Vanderstine says. "As with RDC's other properties, at Blue Heron Pines we are committed to maintaining and growing a culture of guest service, attitude, and consistency that reflects the high standards of this renowned golf property.
