Monroe Township, NJ. – RDC Golf Group, Inc., a golf course ownership and management company, has reached an agreement to lease and open the Blue Heron Pines East Course from owner Ole Hansen & Sons for the 2006 golf season. RDC currently owns and operates the Blue Heron Pines West Course.
The Steve Smyers-designed Blue Heron Pines East Course is in the process of being sold by owner Ole Hansen & Sons to the K. Hovnanian Company.
RDC operated both the East and West courses in 2005; however, the lengthy development approval process has allowed RDC and Ole Hansen & Sons to make the East golf course available for play during the 2006 season as well. All approvals are expected to be in place towards the end of the year, enabling Ole Hansen & Sons to move forward with the sale.

Rates for the East Course are not yet available, but the course is slated to open in April pending weather. RDC’s West Course is open for play year-round and this year, a limited number of memberships will be offered. For 2006, the variety of packages available offer numerous benefits including 21 day advance tee times, invitations to all member tournaments and events, discounts on the driving range and reciprocal privileges at other RDC-owned facilities.
