Aurora, Colo. – Tony Principato was appointed director of golf at the new Jay Morrish-designed Blackstone Country Club, opening in the spring of 2007.

Principato has been a part of the Western Golf Properties team for five years during which time he has been integral in daily club operations and has exhibited the proven ability to balance the goals of the community and developer while building a strong membership base, fostering member programs and activities, and creating heightened member participation. Also during his tenure with Western Golf Properties, Principato has excelled in the arena of customer service which led him to spearheading the national customer service training program implemented throughout each Western Golf Properties managed facility.

“Tony’s business savvy coupled with his inherent service-oriented nature has made his transition to director of golf at this private country club an obvious next step in his career,” says Bobby Heath, president and c.e.o. of Western Golf Properties.

Prior to joining Western Golf Properties, Principato was a teaching professional at the Nicklaus-Flick Golf Schools and served as an assistant golf professional for five years at the Country Club at Castle Pines. He has been a Class A member of the PGA for ten years and was the 2003 Western Golf Properties recipient of the “Joe Black Award.”
