Billy Casper to visit Lincoln Hills Golf Club

Casper, who helped design the courses at the Sacramento, Calif.-area club, will conduct an exhibition, greet fans and sign autographs.

PGA Tour legend Billy Casper will sign autographs and conduct a short game exhibition from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 7 at Lincoln Hills Golf Club in Sacramento, Calif. The event is free to the general public. 

Billy Casper has a special connection to Lincoln Hills because he worked with golf architect Greg Nash to design the courses.

With 51 career wins on the PGA TOUR, Casper ranks seventh on the all-time victories list behind only Sam Sneed (82), Jack Nicklaus (73), Ben Hogan (64), Arnold Palmer (62), Tiger Woods (57) and Byron Nelson (52). Winner of two U.S. Open titles (1959, 1966) and a green jacket (1970 Masters champion), Casper possesses one of the golf’s most legendary short games which will be on display at Lincoln Hills.

Casper has a great fan base in Northern California from his prolific playing days. From his historic U.S. Open win at Olympic Club to his Transamerica Senior Championship title, Billy Casper has amassed an incredible record and he is a beloved figure among sports fans of all ages in the region.
