Billy Casper Golf contract renewed to manage High Bridge Hills

the national course management firm has operated the course, in western New Jersey, since its opening.

Billy Casper Golf announced the firm's contract to manage High Bridge Hills Golf Club – the acclaimed layout in western New Jersey – has been extended for another five years.

After a competitive RFP process, officials with the Borough of High Bridge – the owner of the 6,700 yard facility – retained BCG which has successfully operated the upscale golf course since it was opened in 1998.

"We are very pleased High Bridge has selected Billy Casper Golf to continue running their wonderful golf course," says BCG chairman and c.e.o. Peter Hill. "High Bridge Hills is a terrific layout and it is a privilege to be associated with a facility that enjoys a reputation for being both a strong test of golf and enjoyable playing experience."

A links-style layout with rolling hills and stunning views of the Spruce Run Reservoir, High Bridge Hills has been called an "excellent course that is reasonably priced" with "great practice facilities" by Golf Digest's course raters.

Routed by Mark Mungeam – the course architect tapped by the USGA to prepare Olympia Fields for the 2003 U.S. Open – High Bridge Hills has been called a throw-back design because it is a shot-maker's layout. The course calls as much for accuracy and touch as it does power and brute strength.
