Billy Casper Golf selected to manage Lake Bluff Golf Club

Chicago North Shore facility estbalished in 1968.

Billy Casper Golf was unanimously selected by the Lake Bluff Park District to manage Lake Bluff Golf Club on Chicago’s scenic North Shore.

Overseeing many facets of the daily-fee operation just west of Lake Michigan, BCG will direct sales, marketing, public relations, staffing and training, merchandising, food and beverage, special events, golf instruction and financial management. Engaging a broader audience through original marketing campaigns and leveraging the company’s national account pricing are among BCG’s priorities to make Lake Bluff Golf Club a revenue producing asset.

"Billy Casper Golf is primed to enhance golfers’ experiences and, in turn, the park district’s returns,” said Rob Douglass, President of the Board of Commissioners for Lake Bluff Park District. “Great things are in store for Lake Bluff Golf Club and the community is excited about the partnership.”

“Our team will further separate Lake Bluff Golf Club as a cut above other recreation options,” said Peter Hill, chairman and CEO of BCG. “Innovative programs and events will target new audiences and strengthen golfers’ loyalties with a goal of meaningfully increasing rounds and revenue.”

Established in 1968, the 6,589-yard championship course with four sets of tees for golfers of all abilities is known for being walker-friendly. It features narrow, tree-lined fairways and smooth, bentgrass greens. In July, the course will host the Lake County Amateur, one of Illinois’ premier tournaments among the state’s best golfers.
