Beautifully Brutal Golf Holes finalists chosen

Eighteen par-4 holes have been selected in the John Deere Credit competition for the Most Beautifully Brutal Golf Holes™ in North America.

Eighteen par-4 holes have been named as regional finalists in the John Deere Credit competition for the Most Beautifully Brutal Golf Holes™ in North America.

The regional winners were chosen from par-4 entries throughout the U.S. and Canada (excluding Quebec) by a panel of judges that includes Jeff Babineau, editor of Golfweek; Pat Roberts, publisher of Golfdom; Joe Passov, architecture editor for Golf magazine; and Gary Van Sickle, golf editor for Sports Illustrated. The judges rated the holes based upon their difficulty as well as their stunning beauty.

The 18 regional winners will be among 52 golf holes competing to be selected as the 18 Most Beautifully Brutal Golf Holes in North America. Sixteen par-5 finalists were announced in April and are shown in the Winners Gallery at www.JohnDeereCredit.com/brutalgolfholes. Par-3 finalists will be announced in August, when John Deere Credit also will announce the 18 Most Beautifully Brutal Golf Holes in North America.
