Billy Casper Golf ("BCG") announced that John Hein, formerly director of sales and marketing for the Baltimore County Revenue Authority and a veteran with the outing and event operations for the County's six-course golf system, has joined the firm to become Mid-Atlantic regional director of golf sales, overseeing golf tournament sales and management for Compass Pointe and Eisenhower Golf Courses in Anne Arundel County and Chesapeake Hills Golf Course in Calvert County.
With years of experience and deep ties throughout Maryland, Hein has a reputation of customer service and event management expertise. He has served as a board member of the Baltimore County Conference and Visitors Bureau and has worked closely with many Chambers of Commerce in the area.
"Not only is Billy Casper Golf lucky to have John on the team at our Maryland courses, golfers and outing managers are going to also benefit from having such a consummate pro managing tournaments and special events," says BCG's Mid-Atlantic regional vice president Tony Cianci.
With enhancements to playing conditions and outing facilities this season at Compass Pointe, Eisenhower and Chesapeake Hills, Bay State golfers are already learning what wonderful choices they have in these Billy Casper Golf-managed properties. Hein will add to the courses' growing reputation for excellence and be able to build on the momentum and goodwill that has been established.
"It is an honor to join a quality organization like Billy Casper Golf," Hein says. "I have been impressed with the foundation of customer service at the courses and I look forward to building on the existing track record of success."
