Research Triangle Park, N.C. – Bayer Environmental Science recently received registration from the EPA for use of Allectus insecticide on fertilizer. The company previously received registration for Allectus G and Allectus SC insecticides.
Formulators may now sell blended products containing fertilizer impregnated with Allectus. Use of blended fertilizer products saves an application, reducing treatment costs and saving time.
“Now that the Allectus on fertilizer registration is approved, turf managers can select a formulation that fits their needs,” says Bryan Gooch, business manager, insecticides at Bayer Envrionmental Science. “They can apply Allectus as a granular, a liquid or on fertilizer.”
