Bayer Environmental Science names new golf sales reps

Adam Wright will cover southwest Florida and Brian Giblin will field New England.

Bayer Environmental Science has announced two new sales representatives for the golf market: Adam Wright and Brian Giblin.  They will be responsible for sales and product support for golf customers in their respective territories.

Adam Wright

Adam Wright joins Bayer as the field sales representative for the golf market in southwest Florida. Prior to joining Bayer, Wright was the director of golf course operations for Laurel Oak Country Club in Sarasota, Fla.  He also served as a superintendent at Greystone Golf & Country Club in Birmingham, Ala. 

A graduate of Tennessee Technological University, Wright holds a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agronomy and crop sciences.  He is currently enrolled in the University of South Florida to earn his master’s degree in business.

Brian Giblin

Brian Giblin covers the New England region as a golf field sales specialist. 
Previously, Giblin was employed by TurfLinks Inc., where he sold control products, equipment and agronomic services for the company.  He also spent 17 years as a Certified Golf Course Superintendent, managing both public and private courses.  As a former president of the Rhode Island Golf Course Superintendents Association, he served on the board for 12 years.

Giblin graduated with a bachelor’s degree in agronomy and horticulture from the University of Rhode Island.  He presently resides in Westport, Mass.
