BASF Professional Turf and Ornamentals announced today that Jerry Broughton, golf course superintendent at Twin Hills Golf & Country Club in Edmond, Okla., is the grand prize winner of its 2006 calendar sweepstakes. After correctly answering a BASF calendar quiz question, Broughton was randomly selected among the 12 monthly first prize winners and won two Sea-Doo GTIs and a trailer.
Each month in 2006, one lucky person who participated in that month’s online quiz was selected as a $1,000 gift card winner.

One of Broughton’s passions when he is not maintaining his course in the best possible playing condition is fishing.
“I am just tickled to death that BASF did this,” said Broughton. “I have been lucky in the past, winning a $1,000 gift certificate from BASF the last two years!”
The giveaway was part of a promotion sponsored by BASF Professional Turf and Ornamentals specifically for golf course superintendents and authorized BASF distributor sales representatives.
