It wasn’t about the turf. It was about everything needed to put people in the right places to maintain the turf – including future superintendents.
The 11th annual Green Start Academy, sponsored by Bayer and John Deere, attracted 52 assistant superintendents to North Carolina’s Research Triangle for 2 ½ days of serious career, personnel management, labor and budgeting discussions.
GCI attended the event alongside the assistant superintendents and presenters. We returned home smarter and with plenty of pictures capturing the spirit of Green Start Academy.
