Tokyo – William M. Lewis has been named business unit head of Arysta LifeScience North America. Lewis will report to Chris Richards, Arysta LifeScience president and c.e.o., and replaces Elin D. Miller.
“Bill brings extensive industry experience and has demonstrated his ability to deliver business results,” says Arysta LifeScience president and c.e.o. Chris Richards. “His global experience combined with prior leadership of the U.S., Canada and Mexico is the perfect match with our company’s direction.”
Lewis joins Arysta LifeScience from Syngenta Crop Protection, where he was vice president of professional products and regional business for NAFTA and was responsible for the P&L of five non-Ag businesses in the United States and the businesses in Canada and Mexico.
“Under Elin Miller’s leadership, our North America business has grown even faster than our targets,” says Richards. “We greatly appreciate her contributions to the company as well as her efforts in relocating the North America headquarters from San Francisco to our new location in Cary, N.C.”
Miller will be assisting Lewis in his transition.
