Three golf course supervisors across the U.S. will be hunting waterfowl on the North Platte River this winter thanks to Arysta LifeScience North America Turf & Ornamental Products.
The three-day/four-night Cabela’s wingshooting outdoor adventure hunting trip was part of the promotion of DISARM C, the first and only strobilurin and chlorothalonil premix fungicide.
The winners, selected from those who participated in the Arysta LifeScience booth drawing at the 2009 Golf Industry Show, are:
• Randy Vandervaate; Century Golf Partners Management in Flower Mound, Texas
• Rick Tegtmeier; Des Moines Golf & Country Club in West Des Moines, Iowa
• W. Patrick Donelan; Barefoot Resort & Golf in North Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The prize, with an approximate retail value of $2,300, is at the newly constructed Cabela’s Trophy Property in Scottsbluff, Neb. “As an unusually high value prize, the trip created quite a buzz at GIS” said Michael Maravich, turf & ornamentals marketing and product manager. “The exceptional value of a trip like this is a direct link to the DISARM C promise – premium disease control results at an affordable price, allowing superintendents to apply it economically on fairways, greens and tees.”
