Steven Plummer, CGCS, has joined Agri-Turf as the golf business manager. Plummer will lead the company’s expansion into the golf course market in California.
Prior to joining Agri-Turf, Plummer served as the general manager for Tustin Ranch Golf Club. Since 2007, he has managed Champion Golf Services Inc, providing professional staffing services for the golf industry.
He is a graduate of Kansas State University where he earned a bachelor of science in agriculture, specializing in turfgrass management, and is a certified golf course superintendent. Plummer has served on the Anaheim/Orange County Visitor & Convention Bureau’s board of directors. He served as a board member for the First Tee of Orange County and is past president of the California Golf Course Owner’s Association. Plummer is a recognized leader in California’s golf industry and the 2015 recipient of the Golf Course Owners Association’s Ted Horton Distinguished Service Award.
