Aerification is one of the more tedious cultural practices that golf course superintendents do to maintain good turf conditions. Not only is the equipment management piece important, but chemical and fertility programs are a necessary part leading up to and after the aerification process. Core aerification especially impacts the playing surface so proper timing and fertility practices are necessary to restore to playable conditions, all to avoid revenue disruption.
Hosted by GCI's Pat Jones, the webinar will feature insights from Marshfield Country Club's Tommy Harrington and Koch Turf & Ornamental field agronomist Chris Herrick about aerification and how superintendents can use the various fertility practices and nutrient technologies available to them to get back to playing golf.
