Rain Bird Golf bolsters Northeast presence

Rain Bird Golf has announced two new golf distributors in the Northeast. Atlantic Irrigation will now represent Rain Bird Golf in upstate New York and Connecticut. Northeast Golf & Turf will represent Rain Bird Golf in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine.

Atlantic Irrigation has been a successful Rain Bird Golf distributor in lower New York, Long Island, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, and they bring vast golf irrigation experience to upstate New York and Connecticut. With three existing locations in upstate New York (Albany, Rochester, Buffalo) and two in Connecticut (Stamford, Cheshire) they are well-positioned to serve these markets.

Northeast Golf & Turf will be a new distributor for Rain Bird Golf, although they have represented Rain Bird Landscape/Turf products for several years. Their main headquarters are located in Peabody, Mass., with a second location recently opened in Manchester, N.H. Northeast Golf & Turf is strategically located to serve the golf market. Founded in 1982 as Northeast Nursery, they have grown to be a major supplier of plant materials and nursery stock. In 2008, their Northeast Golf and Turf Supply division was started to provide additional services and products to the golf and turf industry including seed, fertilizer and control products. The success and growth of this division makes Rain Bird Golf irrigation a natural extension to their commitment to the golf market.
