Pacific Golf & Turf delivers large order to Washington resort

Semiahmoo Resort receives John Deere, E-Z-GO equipment as part of remodel.

The new owners of the Semiahmoo Resort, in Blaine, Wash., recently signed an agreement with Pacific Golf & Turf for new E-Z-GO golf carts and John Deere turf equipment, as part of their full-scale remodel of the resort.

The Semiahmoo Resort is undergoing a multi-million dollar renovation to restore its 212 luxury guest rooms, spa, fitness center, public areas and 35,000 square feet of versatile meeting and event space. The resort also updated Packer’s Oyster bar and introduced a new restaurant, Pierside Kitchen. As part of the remodeling project, Pacific Golf & Turf will soon deliver 18 John Deere fairway, trim and greens mowers, utility vehicles, gators, and 120 new E-Z-GO golf carts.

“The new golf carts will certainly improve our guests’ golfing experience at both the Semiahmoo and Loomis Golf Trail courses,” said Brett Eaton, PGA Director of Golf at Semiahmoo. “We chose Pacific Golf & Turf for their product performance and quality.”

The Semiahmoo Resort has two award-winning golf courses, the Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club and the Loomis Trail Golf Club. Semiahmoo Golf & Country Club was designed by Arnold Palmer and is Washington’s No. 7 public course as rated by Golfweek in 2014. Loomis Trail Golf Club was designed by Graham Cooke and is the No. 5 public golf course in Washington, as rated by Golfweek in 2014. Pacific is also a partner of Coastal Hotel’s other properties, including The Resort on the Mountain in Welches, Ore.

“We are pleased to have been selected by Semiahmoo as the vendor of choice for their new equipment,” Pacific Golf & Turf Vice President Steve Cotton said. “As we continue to expand our business and our footprint throughout the Pacific Northwest, premium golf resorts continue to look to us as a valuable partner for their golf and turf needs.”
