Residex continues Canadian investment

Mark Scenna has assumed the role of sales manager of Turfgrass Canada, a newly formed division of Residex, LLC and Residex Canada, Inc. Previously, Scenna held similar posts at both Turf Care Products Canada and Agrium Advanced Technologies bringing 15 years of extensive turf management experience within the Canadian market. Scenna will report to David Helt, the North American turfgrass division director who joined Residex in January 2015.

Turfgrass Canada will introduce the Turf Fuel line of foliar & specialty products introduced in Western Canada over a year ago with additional plans to fill the offering with granular fertilizer, grass seed and pest control products.

“We are very fortunate to have someone with Mark’s expertise, reputation, and knowledge of the industry lead this strategic growth initiative to enable Canada-wide distribution,” Helt said.

This investment into the Canadian market complements last year’s addition of Mark Jull and Casey O’Connor operating as Plant Health Division in Western Canada and provides Residex with a national presence across Canada.

Also effective immediately, a team of six sales representatives who collectively have over 45 years of turf sales experience have signed on to Turfgrass Canada’s team, including Stuart Bradshaw, previously of the Camelot Golf &Country Club to service the Ottawa Valley region, Kevin Jensen to service the Niagara Central region, Perry Brazeau to service Toronto & Toronto East, Chris Lecour catering to the Georgian Bay region, Joey Losito to service Quebec East & South, including Trois Riveres and Quebec City as well as Jason MacRae to service Quebec North & West.

The Turfgrass Canada Division has warehouse locations in both the GTA and south of Montreal scheduled to open this fall.
