Agri-Turf hires Joel Brinkman

Former superintendent will cover the Southern California and Central Valley.

Agri-Turf Distributing has announced Joel Brinkman as its newest sales representative. Brinkman will provide products, service and support to golf courses, sports turf facilities and public agencies from Southern California up through the Central Valley.

“Joel is the ideal person to lead Agri-Turf’s expansion into the golf and landscape markets,” Agri-Turf President Rich Records said. “His extensive background in the golf industry gives him first-hand knowledge of the issues facing golf course superintendents, as well as the landscape managers.”

Brinkman is a familiar face in California’s golf industry. He began working in the California golf market as a first assistant superintendent at Bel-Air Country Club in 1996. For the past 14 years, he served as a golf course superintendent at courses located throughout the state. His professional associations include the Golf Course Superintendent’s Association of America and the California Golf Course Superintendent’s Association.
