Integrity Golf grows to 33 facilities

Latest addition is North Carolina’s Tot Hill Farm Golf Club.

Integrity Golf Company has announced the company is now overseeing Tot Hill Farm Golf Club located between Pinehurst and Greensboro.

The long-term lease agreement, effective July 1, helps broaden Integrity Golf’s footprint in the popular Pinehurst area. Overall, the addition of Tot Hill Farm gives Integrity Golf 33 golf facilities under management in six states (Florida, Tennessee, New York, Kentucky, South Carolina and North Carolina).

"Integrity Golf is a great addition to the Tot Hill Farm community,” said co-owner CC Pharr, whose Tot Hill Farm LLC investment group developed the course in 2000. "There’s a lot of management companies out there, but in dealing with Integrity Golf there were a number of things that struck our attention.

“Though they’re a young company, they seem to be aggressively growing with a wide range of both owned and managed courses. And it’s everything from private courses to semi-private and public facilities. So it’s a broad spectrum of experience they offer. Everything they’ve been doing is impressive.”

Integrity Golf Company President/CEO Gene Garrote is thrilled to be adding this upscale Pinehurst-area daily-fee property to his company’s portfolio. Less than 30 minutes from Tot Hill Farm, in the opposite direction of Pinehurst, is Forest Oaks Country Club, Integrity Golf’s high-profile facility that formerly hosted the PGA Tour Greater Greensboro Open.

“We look forward to partnering with CC Pharr’s investor group and the rest of the Tot Hill Farm community,” Garrote said. “We’re eager to start sharing our national experience and complementing their efforts and stewardship with this fine facility. This is a beautiful course and we’re excited about the future viability of Tot Hill Farm and its surrounding residential development.”

Tot Hill Farm is a critically acclaimed course designed by the late Mike Strantz, known for designing a string of top courses throughout the Carolinas. Over the years, the par-72, 6,543-yard layout received numerous accolades, including a 4.5-star rating in Golf Digest’s Best Places to Play list and noted for being the 7th-hardest course in America by Golf Digest in 2007.

The course is equally as stunning from an environmental perspective, bounded on three sides by the Uwharrie National Forest and Uwharrie Mountains. The majority of the course meanders through the Uwharrie wilderness, with the last few holes of each nine opening up into the rolling hills of a real-life country farm complete with a 200-year-old farm house.

“Tot Hill might be one of the newer courses but it’s really become a favorite of local golfers and avid golfers who travel to this Pinehurst market,” Garrote said. “It’s a stunning property and CC Pharr and his group have done a wonderful job preserving and integrating the surrounding environmental beauty. This is a hidden gem, but it won’t be hidden much longer. CC Pharr and his group have been really dedicated to the overall success of this property and we look forward to taking it to the next level.”
