Integrity Golf Company has announced the company is now overseeing Venetian Bay Golf Club in New Smyrna Beach, Fla.
The long-term lease agreement, effective June 1, further strengthens Integrity Golf’s stronghold in the Central Florida market with 22 Orlando-area golf facilities now under some form of ownership or management. Overall, Venetian Bay gives Integrity Golf 30 golf facilities under management in five states (Florida, Tennessee, New York, South Carolina and North Carolina).
Venetian Bay is a Clifton, Ezell and Clifton-designed golf course layout located just a short drive from the Daytona International Airport and Daytona International Speedway. The par-72, 7,072-yard course opened in 2006 and was acquired by Canadian-owned Geosam Capital US LLC in late 2012.
The semi-private course, featuring water views and undulating fairways and greens, is the centerpiece amenity of the master-planned Venetian Bay development that spans 1,425 acres across 10 communities.
"Integrity Golf Company is a great addition to the Venetian Bay community,” said Martin Pham, vice president of operations for Geosam Capital. "One reason we selected Integrity Golf is their vast experience partnering with large master-planned residential golf course developments accustomed to high-quality standards and their commitment to delivering world-class golf course experiences. Their extensive knowledge and experience of this type of lifestyle will contribute to a harmonious and advantageous partnership with Geosam and the greater Venetian Bay golf and country club community as a whole."
Integrity Golf President/CEO Gene Garrote is thrilled to be adding the property to the company’s collection of Central Florida courses.
“We look forward to partnering with Geosam and the rest of the Venetian Bay community,” Garrote said. “We’re eager to start sharing our expertise and local knowledge with Geosam and complementing their efforts and stewardship with this fine facility. This is a beautiful course and we’re excited about the future viability of Venetian Bay.”
