OnGolf, Hunter Industries announce partnership

Irrigation manufacturer joins growing list of partners.

OnGolf and Hunter Industries announced a strategic partnership to enhance golf course management for its customer base. This announcement follows news that OnGolf recently added eight new system integration partners, allowing for an even more robust, comprehensive management platform at your fingertips.

“Our alliance partnership with Hunter Industries is significant for both OnGolf, Hunter and the industry as a whole,” OnGolf CEO Walt Norley said. “Hunter is the first large irrigation company to join our platform, which is consistent with Hunter’s history of innovation, and their leadership in supporting disruptive solutions in the turf industry. They understand that OnGolf provides a holistic operating approach which allows all essential course management elements to be viewed and managed in one place leading to cost reductions while improving turf conditions.”

Hunter Industries is known in the turf industry as an innovative product leader, offering cutting edge golf course irrigation since 1983. This partnership enhances and expands their presence in the industry alongside OnGolf and marks OnGolf’s first major irrigation manufacturer partner. With the addition of Hunter Industries to OnGolf Ready Partners, the platform will offer the most critical operating component to its roster of systems irrigation. Through this partnership, customers will see relevant irrigation data along with key weather and soil variables all on one dashboard. Golf course superintendents and managers now have the capacity to optimize water management with access to irrigation information remotely, on a browser or on a mobile device.

“The OnGolf decision platform is the perfect complement to the capabilities of our Pilot Control System,” Hunter director of marketing and development Jon Truttmann said. “We believe in keeping the irrigation decisions in the hands of the Superintendent. OnGolf assists the user in making sound, data based, irrigation decisions that can be implemented, in minutes, from a single screen, in the Pilot Command Center.”
