Hunter Industries has announced the hiring of Dennis Wagner as a new sales manager to support the Hunter Golf Irrigation business unit.

Wagner brings many years of golf industry experience to Hunter. He began his golf irrigation career in the late 1980s as a sales manager for Alamo Machinery Company, where he helped build a new golf division. He then worked for Rain Bird’s golf division for 14 years, serving as a specification manager, business development manager and regional sales manager. Wagner comes to Hunter from Ewing Irrigation, where he was the specification manager for their golf division for the last six years.
“Dennis is a respected industry veteran. We welcome him to our golf sales team and look forward to the growth he will bring this segment of our business,” said Jon Truttmann, director of market Development at Hunter.
Wagner is a graduate of Sam Houston State with degrees in mathematics, business administration and physics and is Texas Licensed Irrigator #1688. He also serves as the vice president of the Golf Course Builders Association of America.
