Mobile adventure set for GIS

Winner of event receives an iPad Air 2.

Turf Republic’s, The Reel Challenge sponsored by Jacobsen, is an interactive mobile adventure to engage attendees at the 2015 Golf Industry Show. The overall winner, which will be the person to complete all tasks first, will win an Apple iPad Air 2 16Gig Wifi and an Apple TV -- the basic tools to get you started on your digital job board. Ten runners-up will be awarded a pair of Oakley Straight Jacket Sunglasses from Syngenta.

To play, you must have a mobile device and be attending the 2015 Golf Industry Show. Next, click on this link to download the Scavify app for your mobile device. This is the app in which the The Reel Challenge is hosted.

The Reel Challenge will officially begin on Monday, Feb. 23 at 12:01 a.m. At this time, the 15 tasks you must complete will be revealed. The Reel Challenge has three different types of tasks:

- GPS check-ins
- Photo challenges
- Question and answer

Some tasks will need to be completed while you are out enjoying the sites and sounds of San Antonio. Other tasks will need to be completed at show on Wednesday and Thursday.

Official Rules:

- All players must have a mobile device and must be attending the 2015 Golf Industry Show.

- You must play as an individual, no teams.

- Anyone attending the Golf Industry Show, except staff of Turf Republic, is permitted to play.

- Only the first person to complete all 15 tasks will win the grand prize.

- The next 10 individuals to finish after the initial winner are runners-up and will receive one pair of Oakley Sunglasses.

- If no one completes all 15 tasks by Thursday, Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m., the grand prize Winner will be the person with the most points, not the most tasks completed. Runners-up will be the 10 individuals with the highest point total after the grand prize Winner.
