Turf Asset launches

Company led by Ned Herod provides consultative services.

Turf Asset has launched as a partner for companies wanting to sell into the golf, lawn care and specialty ag markets.

Led by longtime industry distributor and sales manager Ned Herod, Turf Asset provides consultative services to help potential suppliers assess the opportunity, create strategies and execute them with field sales and marketing support.

“If you’re a company looking to break into the turf maintenance market, we’re here to help,” Herod said. “We’re also ready to support companies who are currently in the segment but struggling with sales issues.”

Turf Asset offers a unique knowledge of the end-user and distributor. “Our objective is to offer manufacturers a realistic view of what it takes to enter and succeed in the turfgrass industry,” Herod said. “We’ll also help underperforming brands analyze their barriers and adapt through improved positioning, marketing and even sales support. We give companies a sales outsourcing option they’ve never had before.”

Turf Asset already has a relationship with United Fertilizer Technologies to support the Protene line of products and has secured several client relationships the company plans to announce at the upcoming Golf Industry Show in San Antonio.
